Food safety and trust

Safe to sample. Fair to work.

What we check, what we carry, and what we never do.

Food safety

  • ●Food and drink demos only go to demo staff with a food handler card that is uploaded, checked by our ops team and not expired on the demo date.
  • ●Every food and drink program carries a sampling plan: how samples are prepped, held and served, allergens, temperature rules and what to discard. The plan goes to the staff member with the brief.
  • ●Photo proof of the table setup comes from every visit.
  • ●Food sampling rules are set by state and county, and some retailers cover demos under their own permit while others do not. We confirm with the store which permit covers a demo, and we tell you if a location needs something extra.

No alcohol sampling

  • ●We do not run alcohol tastings. State and local rules differ widely, many require licensed servers, and retailers add their own conditions.
  • ●We handle food, non-alcoholic drinks, beauty, wellness and pet products.

W-2 employment

  • ●Every demo staff member is a W-2 employee of Air Fresh Marketing LLC, not an independent contractor.
  • ●Air Fresh runs payroll, withholds taxes, follows state overtime and break rules, and carries workers' compensation as required.
  • ●That keeps misclassification risk with the employer of record, not with you.

Vetting before the first visit

  • ●Background check through Air Fresh's screening provider.
  • ●ID verification and I-9 employment eligibility.
  • ●Demo leads need 10+ completed visits and a 4.7+ rating.

Insurance and certificates

  • ●A certificate of insurance is available on request for any program.
  • ●Retailers commonly ask for general liability coverage with the store named as an additional insured. We confirm the limits and wording a retailer needs before the first demo.
  • ●Product liability for the product itself stays with the brand.

Location data and photos

  • ●Demo staff opt in to share location at check-in and check-out only. No background tracking.
  • ●We store the check-in coordinates, accuracy and distance from the store, so you can trust the board.
  • ●Staff who decline can check in manually. Manual check-ins are flagged for ops to confirm.
  • ●Photo proof is for the table and product. Staff are told not to photograph shoppers. Share links are off by default.
